Barbara J. Fentress
President & Executive Director

Barbara was appointed President and Executive Director of Surrey in July 2009.  Barbara had been chief financial officer for Surrey since November 2005.  Previously she served in executive and management positions for HIPAA Solutions RX in Wayne, PA., VerticalNet Inc., in Horsham, PA., SAP America Inc., in Newtown Square, PA., and Duane, Morris & Hecksher LLP in Philadelphia, PA. She holds a Bachelor's Degree from The University of Southern California and an MBA from Villanova University.

Barbara’s community involvement includes serving on the board of Daemion Counseling Center and the Upper Main Line YMCA, both in Berwyn, PA. She is also on the Finance Committee of the Main Line Chamber of Commerce.  She is actively involved with St. Francis-in-the-Fields Episcopal Church in Malvern, PA.

Lauren Christiansen
Senior Director, Development

Lauren brings 20 years of fundraising and development experience to Surrey.  She has worked successfully in educational institutions, the health care industry and most recently in local organizations including the YMCA of the Upper Main Line.  Lauren is a graduate of Rosemont College. 

Linda DiMaggio
Senior Director, Compliance & Reporting

Linda is responsible for all the compliance and reporting requirements in the organization.  Additionally, she manages Information Technology, Membership and Volunteer Programs.  Linda has experience in both the corporate and non-profit arenas. She has two master’s degrees from Drexel University and Cabrini College.
 

Suzanne McElroy
Director of Finance

Suzanne is responsible for all Finance and Human Resources functions at Surrey.  A Lansdowne resident, she joined Surrey in 2009. Ms. McElroy holds a Bachelor of Engineering from Villanova University.

Caroline Metz
Senior Director, Community & Member Relations

Caroline joined Surrey in 1999 as a volunteer. Formerly employed in the corporate world for many years, Caroline brings a wide range of experience to Surrey.
