Our Caregivers

Surrey's goal is to provide the best possible service to our clients.  To do that, we ensure we hire the best Caregivers and Companions.  Our skilled Caregivers have a genuine desire to assist older adults.  They are reliable, loyal and compassionate. Unique in the field of home care, our Caregiver turnover rate is very low.  Most of our Caregivers have been with Surrey for more than five years, and some for as long as twenty.

Potential Caregivers are carefully selected, screened, interviewed and have thorough background checks, which are repeated throughout the duration of their employment at Surrey.  All candidates must have three references and proof of certification and education. Our Caregivers are trained in the special needs of the elderly and continue to receive ongoing training to ensure they are fully competent.  Unlike many home health care agencies, all our Caregivers are Surrey employees, not independent contractors, and they are fully insured and bonded. Our clients can expect to receive kindness and respect at all times from trustworthy caring individuals.
