Activities for Seniors

The Havertown Center offers a wide variety of both activities and volunteer opportunities, all designed to encourage healthy living and lifelong learning. Lunch is available daily from 11:45 - 12: 30 for a recommended donation of $2.50. Check the Daily Surrey Calendar for information about classes and times.

Home Delivered Meals

Surrey - Havertown’s Home Delivered Meals program delivers 15-20 meals each day to homebound older adults living in the Haverford Township and Marple-Newtown Township areas. This program is successful through volunteers who not only pack and deliver a nutritious meal, but who also provide a warm greeting to someone for whom this may be their only human connection that day.
