United Way of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey has announced the recipients of their three year Impact Fund Grants, including Surrey Services for Seniors. Over the past several months, UWGPSNJ reviewed applications from organizations in nine counties. Their goal was to identify and invest in high performing local nonprofits that will deliver measurable results and improve local communities and lift the region overall.
“We are thrilled and honored to continue this partnership with UWGPSNJ, and to have the opportunity to meet the needs of seniors in our communities,” said Barbara Fentress, President & CEO. Surrey provides services to 7,500 seniors throughout Chester, Delaware and parts of Montgomery and Philadelphia Counties each year. Last year, the organization provided 78,000 hours of home services, 33,000 home delivered meals and 23,000 rides.
