Tax season is upon us and Surrey is here with help! From partners at AARP assisting with tax preparations to the Pennsylvania Department of Revenue sending representatives to support in property tax and rent rebate discussions, plus recommendations for more local services to lend a hand to you this tax season.

Get help with your taxes for free at Surrey Broomall! Surrey has partnered with AARP to offer federal and PA state tax return preparation by IRS-certified AARP volunteers. These services are by appointment only on a first come, first serve basis at Surrey in Broomall. Appointments are available on Fridays during February and March. Spaces are limited. Do you need help filing for property tax or rent rebate?

The Pennsylvania Department of Revenue has representatives who are providing one on one assistance to those who need in-person filing experience. They will be at Surrey Devon Thursday, March 14 from 12-4.

Pennsylvanians age 65 and older, widows and widowers age 50 and older, and people with disabilities age 18 and older are eligible. You must reapply every year and applications are due June 30, 2024. When you register ahead, you will be given a list of documents you need to bring with you! Please call ahead to reserve a 20 minute appointment at Surrey 610-647-6404.
