Recognize stress, gain support and learn coping skills

We all feel stress at times during our life, especially when caring for a loved one. Surrey programs provide techniques that can help you to care for your mind, body, and spirit. 

At Surrey, our Mindfulness Mondays include classes in gentle exercise, meditation and relaxation techniques. Other programs, such as Tai Chi and yoga, are offered at different times throughout the week.

Support groups meet regularly, such as the Caregiver Support Group. This group, moderated by a Surrey social worker, encourages an exchange of questions, experiences, and learnings when caring for a loved one.
